Supported: .pdf files only

Conversion Tips

Prefer text-based PDFs

Digitally created documents with selectable text convert more usefully than image-only scans.

Expect layout differences

Columns, absolute positioning, and designed pages often need CSS cleanup after download.

Preview in a browser

Open the HTML locally to check structure before publishing or editing further.

Single PDF to HTML

One upload produces one .html download via Stirling-PDF.

Content-oriented output

HTML captures extractable structure for the web; it is not a guaranteed visual clone.

No OCR step

The tool does not recognize text from scanned images; it converts existing extractable content.

What this tool does

PDF to HTML rebuilds a single PDF as a downloadable HTML file for publishing, editing, or further web work.

Use it when you need web markup more than a pixel-perfect print facsimile—layout may differ.

How to use

Upload one PDF

Select or drag a .pdf file into the upload area.

Start conversion

Click Convert to HTML and wait for server-side processing.

Download the HTML

Save the .html file and preview it in a browser.

Supported inputs and output

Input: one .pdf file. Output: one .html file.

Approximate upload limit is about 100 MB per request.

Processing and privacy

Your PDF is posted over HTTPS to /api/converter/pdf-to-html and processed temporarily on Toolomix servers via Stirling-PDF, then returned as a download.

Toolomix does not publish a verified universal retention clock for every conversion. See the Privacy Policy for how uploads and logs are handled.

Limitations

Known limits

  • Single PDF per request—no batch conversion
  • HTML may not match the original visual layout
  • No OCR; scanned image pages convert poorly
  • No password / encrypted-PDF unlock field
  • Uploads near or above ~100 MB may be rejected

Troubleshooting

If conversion fails, confirm the file opens as a PDF locally, remove encryption, and keep the upload under ~100 MB.

If the HTML looks empty or broken, the PDF may be scan-only or heavily designed—try a simpler text-based source.
