What this tool does
PDF Page Organizer lets you change page order, rotate pages, remove or duplicate pages, insert blank sheets, and download an updated PDF.
Everything runs client-side with pdf-lib and PDF.js—your document is not uploaded for processing.
How to use
Open your PDF
Select a .pdf file. Thumbnails appear for each page.
Edit the page list
Reorder with up/down, rotate, duplicate, delete, or add a blank page. Select pages you want to extract separately.
Download
Click Download organized PDF to save the full sequence, or Extract selected for a subset.
Supported inputs and output
Input: a standard PDF opened in the browser. Output: a new PDF reflecting your page order, rotations, duplicates, blank pages, and deletions.
Password-protected PDFs may not open in the PDF.js preview and cannot be edited until unlocked.
Processing and privacy
Editing runs in your browser using pdf-lib and PDF.js. The UI does not upload the PDF to Stirling-PDF or other Toolomix converter endpoints for this tool.
Extract and full download both build the file locally on your device.
Limitations
Known limits
- Password-protected PDFs may fail to load
- Large files limited by browser memory
- Blank pages use a default A4 size
- Does not edit text or vector content inside a page—layout changes only
Troubleshooting
If thumbnails never appear, the PDF may be encrypted or unsupported—try an unlocked copy.
If download fails on a large file, extract smaller sections or close other tabs to free memory.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my PDF uploaded to Toolomix?
No. This tool loads and edits the PDF entirely in your browser with pdf-lib and PDF.js.
Can I reorder pages without drag and drop?
Yes. Each page card includes Move up and Move down buttons to change order.
How does Extract selected work?
Check the pages you want, click Extract selected, and download a new PDF containing only those pages. The main workspace keeps your current layout.
Can I add a blank page?
Yes. Add blank page inserts an empty A4 page at the end. You can move it with the reorder buttons.
Will rotation change how the page prints?
Rotation is written into the exported PDF with pdf-lib, so viewers and printers should honor the new orientation.
Why won't my PDF load?
Password-protected or encrypted PDFs often fail in PDF.js. Unlock the file first or try an unprotected copy.
Are there size limits?
Very large PDFs depend on available browser memory. If export fails, try fewer pages or a smaller source file.
