What this tool does
EML to PDF turns a saved email (.eml) into a readable PDF for archiving, sharing, or records—without needing the original mailbox.

How to use
Upload one EML
Select or drag a .eml file into the upload area.
Choose conversion options
Set attachments, max size, recipients, or HTML intermediate as needed.
Convert and download
Run conversion and save the PDF (or HTML) result.
Supported inputs and output
Input: one .eml file plus UI options (attachments, max attachment size MB, include all recipients, download HTML). Output: one .pdf (or HTML when selected).
Approximate upload limit is about 100 MB per request. Attachment handling follows the converter rules shown in the UI.
Processing and privacy
Your EML is posted over HTTPS to /api/converter/eml-to-pdf and processed temporarily on Toolomix servers via Stirling-PDF, then returned as a download.
Toolomix does not publish a verified universal retention clock for every conversion. See the Privacy Policy for how uploads and logs are handled.
Limitations
Known limits
- Single .eml per request—no batch conversion
- Attachment handling follows UI converter rules
- Complex HTML emails may need the intermediate HTML option
- Embedded content may not work the same in HTML intermediate
- Uploads near or above ~100 MB may be rejected
Troubleshooting
If conversion fails, confirm the file is a valid .eml, reduce attachment inclusion or max size, and keep the upload under ~100 MB.
If the PDF looks corrupted, download the HTML intermediate, inspect CSS/markup issues, then try again.
EML to PDF FAQ
What endpoint converts my file?
The browser posts to /api/converter/eml-to-pdf with your selected options. Toolomix processes the EML through Stirling-PDF and returns a PDF (or HTML when that option is selected).
Are attachments always included?
No. Attachment handling follows the converter rules shown in the UI—use Include attachments and the maximum size setting.
What if the PDF looks broken?
Try downloading the HTML intermediate file to review and troubleshoot formatting, then convert again if needed.
Does embedded content work in the HTML option?
Embedded content does not always work the same way in the HTML intermediate as in the final PDF.
How long does conversion take?
Often under a minute; larger emails or attachments can take longer.
Is there a size limit?
Uploads are limited to about 100 MB by server middleware. Larger files may be rejected.
Can I convert multiple EMLs in one request?
No. Upload one .eml file per conversion.
