XML Sitemap Generator
Create an XML sitemap on Toolomix via GenerateSitemap or CrawlWebsiteForSitemap—manual URLs or a remote crawl. Does not submit to Google Search Console.
Practical tips
Crawl runs on Toolomix
Auto crawler fetches remote pages from Toolomix servers—not a purely local browser crawl.
Set depth and page caps
maxDepth is 1–10 and maxPages is 1–1000; use delay to be polite to the target site.
You host and submit
Download sitemap.xml to your site. This tool does not push it to Google Search Console.
Exclude low-value paths
Skip admin, login, and duplicate parameterized URLs when possible.
Manual GenerateSitemap
Build XML from URLs you enter, with change frequency and priority hints.
Server crawl
CrawlWebsiteForSitemap discovers pages with depth, page limit, delay, and robots.txt option.
Copy or download XML
Take the generated sitemap and place it on your own hosting.
What this tool does
XML Sitemap Generator produces sitemap XML from manual URL entry or a Toolomix-hosted website crawl.
It helps you create a file to host—not a Search Console submission service.
How to use
Choose a mode
Manual Entry (GenerateSitemap) or Auto Crawler (CrawlWebsiteForSitemap).
Enter the base URL and settings
For crawl, set maxDepth (1–10), maxPages (1–1000), delay, excludes, and robots.txt preference.
Generate
Run the server action and review the XML.
Host the file yourself
Copy or download sitemap.xml to your site. Submit to Search Console separately if desired.
Supported inputs and output
Input: base URL plus manual URL rows, or crawl configuration. Output: XML sitemap text/file.
Change frequency and priority are hints for crawlers, not guarantees.
Processing and privacy
GenerateSitemap and CrawlWebsiteForSitemap run on Toolomix. Crawl mode fetches the target site’s pages from Toolomix servers.
See the Privacy Policy for how requests and logs are handled. Only crawl sites you are authorized to scan.
Limitations
Known limits
- Does not submit to Google Search Console
- Crawl: maxDepth 1–10, maxPages 1–1000
- Crawl fetches remote pages from Toolomix servers
- JavaScript-heavy sites may miss client-rendered routes
- Change frequency/priority are advisory only
Troubleshooting
If crawl finds few URLs, lower restrictions, increase maxPages/depth within limits, or switch to manual entry for critical pages.
If generation fails, check the base URL, network, and on-page errors from the Toolomix endpoints.
Frequently asked questions
Does the crawler run only in my browser?
No. CrawlWebsiteForSitemap runs on Toolomix and fetches remote pages from Toolomix servers.
What are the crawl limits?
maxDepth 1–10 and maxPages 1–1000, plus an optional delay between requests.
Does Toolomix submit my sitemap to Google?
No. You download or copy the XML and host it yourself. Submitting to Google Search Console is a separate step you perform.
Where should I put the file?
Typically as sitemap.xml at your site root (for example https://example.com/sitemap.xml) and optionally reference it from robots.txt.
Does a sitemap guarantee indexing?
No. It helps discovery; indexing still depends on search engines and other signals.
What does Respect robots.txt do?
When enabled for crawl mode, Toolomix attempts to honor disallowed paths from the site’s robots.txt during discovery.
Manual vs Auto Crawler?
Manual uses GenerateSitemap with URLs you provide. Auto uses CrawlWebsiteForSitemap to discover URLs within your configured limits.
