What URL Shortener does

URL Shortener stores a mapping from a short code to your long HTTP or HTTPS address, then exposes it as a Toolomix /s/{code} link that redirects when opened.

You can leave the code random, choose a custom alias when it is free, and optionally set an expiration so temporary campaigns stop resolving after a fixed period.

Where are short links stored?

The original URL and short code are saved on Toolomix servers so /s/{code} can redirect visitors. Recent history in the page UI stays in your browser only.

What happens after a short link expires?

The redirect stops working once the selected expiration time has passed.
